Pretty Pearls is a jewelry store in Downtown Toronto. The founder, Linda's story starts when she was getting ready for her wedding in 2022. Like any bride, she wanted a beautiful pearl necklace to go with her dress. But when she looked for one, she was shocked by the high prices and the quality of the necklaces she found in stores.
Linda didn't give up. She decided to find out why pearl jewelry was so expensive. She learned that many people were involved in making and selling the jewelry, and each one added their own fees. Linda thought this wasn't fair, so she came up with a new plan.
She went directly to the places where pearls are made deals with them. This way, she could get high-quality pearls without the extra costs. She wanted everyone to be able to afford beautiful jewelry.
But Linda didn't stop there. She also wanted people to wear pearls every day, not just on special occasions. So, she made sure her jewelry was stylish and could be worn with any outfit, whether it's a fancy dress or casual jeans.
